Stone County Ironworks
We
are proud to be an authorized dealer of Stone County Iron Works.
Stone County Ironworks manufactures heirloom, hand-forged iron
furniture for the beautification of homes and businesses.
Blacksmiths use artistic ability and traditional tools of hammer,
anvil and forge to create works of art that are unique and that
adhere to the blacksmithing heritage.
All furniture is manufactured in the United States of America and
only authentic materials and methods are utilized. That is what sets
Stone County Ironworks furniture apart from wrought iron that is
simply heated and bent or "cast," using molds for mass produced
factory runs. Stone County Iron Works believes their
dedication to furniture that embodies the honesty and pride of the
individual blacksmith results in the highest quality of products.
Sometimes the smallest detail can reveal the most about a company.
Stone County refuses to simply weld an imported, stamped leaf onto
our products. Instead, the end of an iron bar is drawn, hammered,
hand-veined and then cupped by hand to make one, small leaf. This is
the art of the blacksmith. A forged leaf is an old, traditional
blacksmith technique and one that exemplifies the skill of a
seasoned blacksmith. Because of this, they have made it their
signature.
Each leaf is different from the next leaf, as it is in nature and
just as they believe it should be. These differences are the
signatures of our individual blacksmiths. We are guaranteed in life
that each of us is different, unique and unlike any other. It is
their guarantee that their products are forged by hand, one at a
time, embodying this belief.
There are easier ways to make a leaf, or any of their designs. But
the way they do it is the authentic way, and it is the only way for
then and for us.
